St. Johns Cadets girls soccer team won a thriller 1-0 to close out the 2024 Soccer Season. Winning their 2nd DCSAA Soccer State Championship in 3 years. Sidwell Friends School held their own and played a brilliant match until Kailyn Effah connected with Catherine Webster on a corner kick which Webster headed into the net and proved to be the game winner in a tough match where rain added to the dramatics of the title game.
