STUDENT TRANSFER ELIGIBILITY, CLEARANCE, AND EXEPTIONS
If you have transfer students on any of your seasonal rosters, you MUST enter their information via the following registration form.
Use the registration link to the left to enter information for your transfer students. Please compile the following information BEFORE you begin this form.
General Information
- School Name
- Sport Season
Student-Athlete Information
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Date of enrollment at the receiving school
- Semesters of high school completed
- List of all sports played and/or seeking eligibility determination
- Name of school sending school
- Transfer exception and supporting documentation (if applicable). Please see the Transfer Rules and Exceptions document.
- If transferring without an exception, be sure to have completed the Transfer Release Form, if possible, and the DCSAA Waiver Application.

You must complete this entire registration form for EACH transfer student that you wish to submit. At the end of the form, click the “Register Another Person” button to submit an additional student.
TRANSFER STUDENT FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: If a student meets a transfer exception, do I still need to submit a waiver?
A: No. If a student meets an exception, that student will be eligible once the DCSAA has reviewed the information. Your only responsibility will be to enter that student’s information in the “Student Athlete Transfer Documentation” registration form above.
Q: If a student does not meet a transfer exception, do I need to submit a waiver?
A: Yes. If a student does not meet a transfer exception, you will need to submit a waiver to waive the transfer rule for that student.
Q: Do I need to enter information for transfer students for each season that they participate?
A: No. Enter information for transfer students during the FIRST season that they compete for your school. For example, if you have a transfer student that came to your school during the fall season, you will enter that student’s information during the fall roster submission time period. If that student participates in the winter, you will not need to resubmit the transfer information.
